Services drove over 100 “green” cars for the 79th Annual Academy
Awards, which were held at the Kodak Theatre on February 25, 2007 in Los
Angeles. Show participants stepped onto the red carpet from E-85 Flex
Fuel Chevy Tahoes, GMC Suburbans, and Hybrid Saturn Vues. General Motors
provided the Academy with the luxury vehicles for the Academy’s first
completely green Oscars production. And it was a record night for EmpireCLS, who generally averages between 200 and 250 vehicles per award show. The additional green vehicles boosted the total to 366 for the evening.
